Daniele Cazzaniga’s season in the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship ends in Monza with a second place in the GTCup 2nd Division ProAm class.
Monza (ITA). Daniele Cazzaniga concludes the season in the Italian Gran Turismo Endurance Championship with a solid performance: on his home circuit of Monza, Daniele takes second place in the GTCup 2nd Division ProAm class aboard the Porsche GT3 Cup fielded by the Ebimotors team, sharing the wheel with Davide Di Benedetto and Giuseppe Nicolosi. The crew finished the race with a solid sixth overall position in the GTCup category and finishing second among the seven Porsches in the race, marking the best result of the season. After a complex start to the race, subsequent stints managed to bring the Porsche number 122 back into the thick of the fray, eventually earning the second step of the podium in its class.
Daniele Cazzaniga: “It was a good end to the season with a result that rewards the work of the whole team. Despite the initial difficulties, Davide and Giuseppe and I gave our best to recover and managed to gain a position that makes us very proud. Despite starting far behind in terms of the sum of qualifying times, we managed to finish second in our category, putting us behind 5 of the 7 Porsches on the track. Due thanks go to the Ebimotors team that has always provided us with a high performance car and to Nicolosi and all the sponsors who have supported us for the season”.
